DESCRIPTION:Virtual October Twistshop: Art Therapy Inspired by Inktober \nWhen: October 13th\, 2025 06:30 PM Central Time  \nDescription: \nJoin Twist Out Cancer\, as we partner with The Dear Jack Foundation for our October Virtual Twistshop! We will be exploring how to begin a daily art journaling and bring art making into your daily self-care practice. Participants will explore types of scribbling\, doodling\, and drawing and be led through a series of one-word prompts. This art therapy group is inspired by Inktober\, a worldwide art challenge to improve inking skills and develop positive drawing habits.  \nThese creative one-word prompts will include themes to encourage self-expression and curiosity\, including celebrating the autumn season and reflecting on the cancer experience. \nCo-led by Art Therapists Callie Cullinan & Jackie Carmody \nSuggested Art Materials: \nPencil/Pen \nPaper \nMarkers \nCrayons \nColored Pencils \nAbout our community partner: The Dear Jack Foundation provides impactful programs benefiting adolescents and young adults (AYA) diagnosed with cancer and their families to improve their quality of life from treatment to survivorship. \nRegister HERE
