Shelly Battista and Michele Kellner
The Story
Shelly Battista
Arlington Heights, IL
Social Media: @sm_battista
Triple negative breast cancer survivor; Ovarian cancer previvor
Twist on Cancer: "There is no such thing as a coincidence. Notice how everything in your life somehow leads up to the next...it's all connected." A quote I have learned to love. This horrible life event resulted in a beautiful ending. Cancer taught me to live everyday as a "yes-day," it's too short and precious to miss out on all the big (and small) things.

Artist Statement: Every note of Shelly's song is rooted in and as Mother Love. Her gift of being that love was her purpose and her strength and its flowering is what became my vision of her journey. Shelly's field of babies.
