Artist Statement: My inspiration's name is Yvonne.
I am so grateful for her honesty and positivity.
She explained to me the importance of hope and how it helped her through her battle with cancer. All along, Yvonne's family and friends were there to lend a hand. She felt at peace and very hopeful. I envisioned Yvonne sitting in peace and enjoying the view, that's how this piece came about.
