Artist Statement: This piece is a meditation on love, loss, and the vibrance of connection that continues beyond. For Tasha—and for so many of us—the afterlife reveals itself in quiet, yet profound gestures: a dream that feels like a conversation, a bird that lingers too long, a butterfly that arrives at the exact moment you need it. These brief visits carry warmth, reassurance, and comfort. I created this work to honor those encounters.
