Artist Statement: It is an absolute honor to have had the opportunity to create this fiber art piece for Brushes with Cancer inspired by Bond Courtney. Titled is her favorite bible verse "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4.13)" the artwork incorporates the images of a range of mountains and a field of purple tulips, symbolizing strength, renewal,and unwavering faith. This piece was crafted with different fabrics, threads and beads, and it was crafted with love and admiration, reflecting the spirit of resilience and hope that Bond embodies. I am truly grateful for the chance to contribute to this project in this meaningful way.
